What Polymeric Sand Does
Polymeric sand is fine sand blended with binders. Once it is swept in, compacted and activated with water, it hardens to keep pavers from shifting and resist weeds, ants and erosion while still allowing some flexibility.

Getting It Right
Polymeric sand only performs if the joints are cleaned out to the right depth, the pavers are fully dry, the sand is compacted and residue is cleared before activation. Rushed jobs lead to haze and soft joints. We handle every step as part of our Wash, Sand & Seal service.
