Patio Installations For Rhode Island Homes
Every new patio we build can be finished with Rhode Island paver sealing once the pavers are ready.
A new paver patio can turn a Rhode Island backyard into an outdoor living space for dining, a fire pit and summer evenings. In our climate, what is under the pavers matters as much as what is on top: proper excavation, compacted base, edge restraint and drainage are what keep a patio flat through freeze-thaw winters.
New patios are built by our licensed and insured team, giving you peace of mind on a bigger project.

Our Patio Installations Process
Plan
We talk through layout, materials, pattern and how you will use the space.
Build
Excavation, base, bedding and pavers are installed with edge restraint and proper pitch for drainage.
Finish
Joints get polymeric sand, the site is cleaned up and sealing is available.
Why Rhode Island Conditions Matter
Coastal Salt Air
With Narragansett Bay and miles of shoreline, much of Rhode Island lives with salty, damp air. Moisture and salt speed up algae, fading and joint breakdown on unprotected hardscapes.
Freeze-Thaw Cycles
Rhode Island winters swing above and below freezing. Water that soaks into joints and porous surfaces expands when it freezes, loosening sand, shifting pavers and opening cracks.
Pollen, Moss & Shade
Spring pollen, fall leaves and shaded yards feed moss, algae and tannin stains. Clean, sealed surfaces resist buildup and are much easier to keep clean.
Patio Installations FAQ
Do new pavers need to be sealed right away?
Not always. Some manufacturers recommend waiting before sealing new pavers, especially if efflorescence appears. We will advise based on the product.
Can you add a fire pit or seating wall?
Ask us about adding features to your patio project when you request your estimate.
